The Womanist Collective Inc is committed to facilitating a space for women to advocate, educate, articulate, and empower women of color. 

Womanist Collective Inc. is a grassroots collaborative effort of principally African American women who value holistic wellness through emotional and moral well-being. 

• Advocate - reproduction as a privilege and a right. 
• Educate-  We are inspired to advocate for our black families to fulfill and sustain our own economic sustainability by educating black families of their "Right to Life", spiritually, psychologically, and physically. We reject historic eugenic notions that diminish acceptance of black motherhood. 
• Articulate- The absolute patriarchal government control over economic stability of black people is deemed as a form of  "oppressive control. "  This type of control  hinders black success and  disrupts the structure of the Black Family.
• Empower-  We reject the "reproductive choice" mentality that allows the government to reduce the available amount of black support for families in need.

 The Womanist Collective Inc. is dedicated to helping black women restore   self love and care for themselves, and their families.  We use practices such as Seminars and Lectures through out the community of Rochester NY to facilitate Psycho- Spiritual healing and wellness. 

Our goal is to educate and empower black women who historically have been the hub of black families. We believe

education = empowerment for Black women, and helps to  strengthen the Black family dynamic, for future generations. 

 Our team comprises of highly skilled black consultants, counselors, Social workers, both (Men and Women) with extensive experience in various industries in regard to spiritual and psychological wellness for black women and the well-being of black families. We are committed to delivering quality services to the black community and helping them achieve wholistic wellness and economic stability. 

 This Non profit is an advocacy group that provides brave space for black women. The goal is to focus on equity in the black community. There are many disparities in the black community. We want to see change in the physical, psychological and emotional condition of our community. These funds will be used to meet the bench mark of securing a location within the inner city of Rochester that is accessible support to black women and their families; which includes the men.
